The display was stocked with adorable headbands made by a company called Banded. Their signage stated that every product provides 3 meals for a child in Uganda. I was intrigued to say the least.
To date, they have provided 2.5 MILLION meals!
After carefully selecting the one that should come home with me, I did not think much about the product itself. My purchase was mainly to support a company that was doing something to make a difference.
I was so impressed with the company’s mission, I went to their website and learned they are partnered with Amazima Ministries whom I highly respect. The fact they are also a local small business in my community made me even happier!
The next day, I wore my headband hoping it would conceal the post-partum, crazy, hormonal, untamable, wispy, fly-aways that nobody tells you about. Not only did it do the trick, it was comfortable, and NEVER SLIPPED!
Yes, you heard that right!
A headband that never slips!
I asked my 4 year old daughter if she would like to wear it. When I put it on her, she immediately had the biggest smile ever. She said, “Mommy…this headband doesn’t hurt my head!”
The girl loves her some headbands, but she usually takes them off shortly thereafter due to them hurting. OR she looks like this when I pick her up from Pre-K, because McEnroe/Borg style is the only way she can wear a headband to prevent it from slipping.
Despite her normal 4 year old activities that consist of romping, playing, cartwheels, dancing, jumping, running, and resting…the headband did not slip at all!!!
Banded also offers a really cool referral program that you can learn more about here.
Companies should take a few lessons from Banded, because they possess everything that I deem important within a business.

One of the many reasons I use the internet is to check out product reviews before I buy something. To give back to the internet community, I will review a product only when I LOVE something and feel it needs to be shared. This is not a sponsored post.
